Affiliate Links Disclosure

In compliance with the FTC guidelines, and for the purpose of transparency, I wanted to let you know this about links to products on my site and in my posts:

  • The links to Amazon products found on this site, and in the blog posts, are affiliate links.
  • As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
  • Although I receive a small commission if you purchase an item through an affiliate link, using the links doesn’t increase the cost of the products.

What Personal Data Do I Collect and Why I Collect It

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. That Gravatar’s service privacy policy is available here.

After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
