In addition to my writing projects, I provide a variety of services.

Schedule a Children’s Book Reading
Writing for children is rewarding, in itself. Nothing is better than reading my stories, in person, to children, so I can see their reactions, and answer their questions. I love how engaged kids are when I’m reading to them. They immerse themselves in the experience, “live” the tales they’re being told. Children’s insights, and attention to detail, never cease to amaze me. They draw connections, have realizations, and make suggestions that illustrate just how observant, and creative, they are.

Coaching & Consultations
We all need someone to help us with goal setting or accountability, from time to time. Although recently the majority of my coaching clients have been authors, I don’t work with writers exclusively.
As a coach I can help a client identify, then work toward, a variety of personal and professional objectives. This typically involves breaking down the steps needed to achieve desired goals, and determining an appropriate timeline for completing the necessary tasks. The main purpose of coaching is to help people become the best they can be through self-discovery, motivation, vision, and organization [coaches do not offer advice or counseling].
If your goal is to complete a novel, I’ll work with you as you determine a timeline, then plan, write, and rewrite drafts. As a coach, I don’t assist with editing, cover design, formatting, publishing, or marketing.
Social Media Consultations
I am not, nor do I hope to be an influencer. I am willing to share what I’ve learned about social media since I began writing. In addition to offering consultations, I’ve created Social Media: The Basics, a guide which can be purchased and downloaded here. If you’re an avid pinner, also check out my Pinterest design packages!
Stress Management Sessions
Everyone feels stressed, now and then, as they go through life. Sometimes the stressors we encounter motivate us, challenge us, and nudge us toward growth. Other stressors overwhelm us, or become chronic frustrations.
We cannot eliminate stress from our lives completely, nor should we want to. What we can do is look at our stressors to determine the degree to which we have control over them. We can also look at the habitual ways we react to a stressor to determine if our reactions have exacerbated the situation.
Learning to manage stress, which builds resilience, requires understanding our stress responses and their underlying causes.
Stress reduction techniques might involve:
- Adjusting the way we set boundaries
- Heightening our emotional awareness
- Processing difficult emotions
- Becoming more mindful
While completing my certification through the American Institute of Health Care Professionals (AIHCP), I learned ways to support people as they acquire tools and techniques for stress management and reduction. Incorporating these methods into one’s life can foster a sense of inner peace while restoring energy and vitality.
